Red Carpet Glamour at the Oscars

At last night’s Oscars, the red carpet sparkled to say the least. There were some duds, but for the most part, the red carpet was rife with wows. Here are a few of my personal favorite red carpet looks.

Zoe Saldana wearing Givenchy really stole the show for me. I loved the champagne sparkled, sequined bodice mixed with a ruffled train. It was great to see a dress really push the boundaries in colors and textures.

Rachel McAdams can do no wrong. She looked adorable as always wearing Elie Saab’s perfectly pleated gown with muted colors and a dreamy print.

Can we talk about how great Sarah Jessica Parker looked in Chanel? The dress fell just perfectly and the silver flowery encrusted top was an elegant touch. I thought it added a lot of dimension to an already elegant gown.

Sandra Bullock glowed in her Marchesa number. The gown spoke for itself – champagne in color with silver beading. What really topped it off for me was Sandra’s lipstick. It was the perfect shade of raspberry I have ever seen and complemented the gown beautifully.

Cameron Diaz radiated in an Oscar de la Renta beauty. If this doesn’t scream Oscar glamour, I don’t know what does.

Jennifer Lopez’ form fitting Giorgio Armani Prive gown was lovely. How would you describe the color? Off-white with the lightest shade of pink possible? Either way, gorgeous. The train that came out from her hip was an added breathe of innovative glamour.

So, based off of Rachel Zoe’s show, we can assume she styled Cameron Diaz and Demi Moore. I also wonder what Hollywood stylists were behind the looks of the other dazzling actresses?
